We meet up once a month at The Ancient Oak pub in Preston. Meetings are every 2nd Tuesday of the month and during the summer months can be quite busy.
WHAT WE DO
On a club night members usually have a drink, a chat and a look around each others car. During the summer months we run a 'Car of the Night' and spend most time (weather permitting) outside. Also the pub usually puts on some food for us all to tuck into, providing you are fast enough to get to it.
CAR OF THE NIGHT
Car of the night is run for fully paid up members, they display their Lancashire Group Member sticker in their windscreen and other fully paid up members can vote for the car of their choice. Cars that are wanting to participate in the car of the night are asked to arrive in-between 7:30 and 8pm, parking at the bottom end of the car park with their member sticker in the windscreen. Voting then commences, (Voting slips can usually be found with Paul or Simon), and at about 8:15-8:30pm votes are counted. The winner is announed when the Chariman speaks to the group and the winner then receives a free ticket to National Day, (nearly your membership fee back if you win) and a photo in put in the next edition of Rallye News.
